Kehillat Ahavat Yisrael (the community for the love of Israel) is a warm, caring Orthodox community in Carmel Valley, San Diego, California We welcome Jews of all backgrounds to personal exploration and growth within Judaism. Our name symbolizes our passionate love for both fellow Jews and the State of Israel.

We are a small, informal, close community. We share each other’s lives, joys and sorrows, learning together, celebrating together. We welcome visitors and new members, and want to create a loving, caring kehilla where everyone feels accepted, nurtured, supported and appreciated.
